Maria Victoria Navarro

I am Tenured Scientist, member of the Environmental Research Group of the Instituto de Carboquímica from CSIC. I obtained the MSc in Chemical Engineering at the University of Zaragoza in 1999 and received the PhD degree from this university in 2003.

I have worked in subjects related to the development of high-performance materials including hierarchical zeolites for pollutant abatement and upgrading of pyrolytic bio-oils and sorbents and catalysts for production of H2 with in situ CO2 capture by sorption enhanced steam-methane reforming. I have utilized experimental facilities from mg to kg/h to study processes as well as computational tools. Within PIONEER, I am mostly involved in development of catalysts including nanostructured metal oxides applied in
CO2 methanation assisted by non-thermal plasma.
